Feeding and Oral Motor Therapy

Our therapists work with children to improve their ability to eat and drink a variety of foods.

Our therapists work with both the child and the family to develop a treatment plan to address each child’s unique feeding needs. Challenges addressed include both motor (oral and physical) and sensory based skills needed to effectively suck, swallow, chew and bite foods. Sessions often include developmentally appropriate play to improve tolerance for smelling, touching, and tasting a variety of foods.
